Organic Vanilla Ice Cream

For the healthiest and most delicious results, use the freshest organic and preferable raw ingredients possible.

This recipe makes incredibly rich, smooth vanilla ice cream and is a perfect base for adding your personal favorites, such as broken walnuts or pecans, chopped dark chocolate, diced fresh fruit pieces, or any combination you dream up. For a fragrant ice cream, try adding 1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers to the recipe, or add a teaspoon of the extract of your choice; hazelnut, anise or almond each add a lovely bouquet. This recipe requires an ice cream maker.

2 cups cream
1 cup whole milk
¼ cup evaporated cane juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla

In a large bowl whisk together cream, milk, cane juice, honey and vanilla. Refrigerate the mixture for an hour. Pour into the bowl of your ice cream machine and churn and freeze according to directions. Enjoy!
