Cold sores are small fever blisters which usually start to appear around the mouth or lips. These small blisters or ‘clusters’ are caused by the virus, herpes simplex.
If the cold sores appear, it is usually associated with a person’s immune system being low. Sometimes a cold sore can go unnoticed until you have symptoms of flu, sore throat, headaches and tiredness.
Cold sores have also been known to appear again and again until the outbreaks are minimal.
A burning, itchiness or tingling feeling on the edge of the lip area is the cold sore’s way of letting you know a cold sore imminent. Be prepared to attack it with natural medicine.
A cold sore will burst within days of appearing. However it has to go through the cycle of burning, bursting, drying out and coming to a crust before disappearing.
There is a wide variety of herbal remedies and other natural cures for you to choose from which re-balances and restores the bio chemicals required in the body.
The good news is you can keep it under control with natural medicine as there is a natural remedy that will eliminate the virus completely. In some cases the outbreak of cold sores will reduce and not appear at all.
Strict hygiene procedures should be in place such as not sharing soaps and hand towels. Cold sores are contagious and can spread to the genitalia.
