Cancerous Tumors
Overview
The word cancer is derived from Latin word for crab because it grabs onto something and will not let go. Referring to a new growth which will invade surrounding tissues, metastasize (spread to other organs) cancer affects thousands upon thousands of people globally each year.
The terms tumor and cancer are sometimes used synonymously which can be somewhat misleading; a tumor is not necessarily a cancer. The word tumor simply refers to a mass, for example, a collection of pus is by definition a tumor.
Symptoms of cancerous tumors depend on the type and location of the tumor. For instance, lung tumors may cause coughing, shortness of breath, or chest pain.
Tumors of the colon can cause weight loss, diarrhea, constipation, iron deficiency anemia, and blood in the stool.
Some tumors may not cause any symptoms. In certain tumors, such as pancreatic cancer, symptoms often do not start until the disease has reached an advanced stage.
However, the following symptoms occur with most tumors:
- Chills
- Fatigue
- Fever
- Loss of appetite
- Malaise – a feeling of general discomfort or uneasiness
- Night sweats
- Weight loss
may respond to gentle heat from warm water soaks and improved nutrition. Supplementing with acidophilus and B vitamins, as well as increasing fluids are recommended. The need for specific other treatment measures, such as drainage or compression should be assessed by a holistic physician or health practitioner.
The division of one cell originally forms the cancerous cells, which participate in repeated metastasis and invasion can cause a malignant cancerous tumor. The benign tumor, which does not endanger life, grows slowly in one place; yet it takes only one malignant cell to produce a tumor that will consequently invade and migrate to other areas of the body.

Surprisingly, the National Cancer Institute estimates that roughly one-third of all cancer deaths may be diet related. What you eat can hurt you, but it can also help you; many of the common foods found in grocery stores or organic markets contain cancer-fighting properties.
Carrots contain a lot of beta carotene, which may help reduce a wide range of cancers including lung, mouth, throat, stomach, intestine, bladder, prostate and breast.
Jalapenos and chili pepperscontain a chemical, capsaicin, which may neutralize certain cancer-causing substances (nitrosamines) and may help prevent cancers such as stomach cancer, while garlic has immune-enhancing allium compounds (dialyl sultides) that appear to increase the activity of immune cells that fight cancer
It is important to not add further toxicity to your system so try to adhere to the following:

- Do not drink any carbonated beverages.
- Avoid all fast food restaurants.
- Avoid all canned food.

Supplements:
Vitamin D is one of the most studied supplements for cancer prevention and treatment, while garlic supplements are thought to be beneficial due to their immune-boosting properties.
Some patients with cancer find that using ginger significantly reduces the nausea and vomiting associated with cancerous tumors.
Iron is believed to be beneficial to help with the fatigue that comes with cancer. However, be aware that too much iron in your body can damage your liver and heart, so do consult a health practitioner first.
- Take Vitamin D3 50,000-100,000 International Units a day for periods of 4 weeks at a time.
- Wholefood supplements are the best way of ensuring your nutritional needs are met. The best we know on the market is Kevin Trudeau’s “KT Daily” product. You can find more details here.
