Diet is NOT enough
As you embark on the Candida Cleanse take a moment to consider the benefits, the payoff for going through this process of cleansing that is also a lifestyle change. It might help to understand right now that candida cleansing is indeed a process; it has a beginning, a very long middle and a glorious end. The process of clearing candida is multi-faceted and it requires focus and commitment to engage the combination of diet, supplementation, exercise, rest, and emotional issues that may emerge in the process. You might come up against your own willingness to heal, or hit anger, disappointment or powerlessness in this process.
Let’s take a moment to consider a few of these important points. By reading through the Candida Cleanse it is clear that there are no magic bullets. No matter what anyone says, sells, offers, treats or promises, in the long run you must make what for some will be drastic changes in order to clear Candidiasis. Every success story comes with a cost or a trade off. For one person it may be trading sugar based treats for energy, for someone else a pleasurable evening glass of wine in exchange for digestive health. No matter how you cut it, there is going to be something to give up, and something to gain that you have to want more than the comfort of your previous pleasure or addiction.
Stories abound of those who were deeply upset or disappointed due to the length of time it took to clear their candida condition. Some feel it is too much, and they cannot do it. We beg to differ, and offer you the inspiration to go for it. We know that you can do it. You simply decide to do it. Your commitment will carry you far. Even if you find yourself challenged, angry, isolated, full of cravings, exhausted, toxic and sure you might give your life for a bowl of ice cream, you can do it.
No matter what you think right now, in the process of cleaning up your diet, which has to happen for the process of clearing candida to work, you will have a breakthrough of sorts with your perceptions and how food tastes to you. Somewhere along the way you will eat a meal that is so simple, and you will be so hungry for real food, that it will taste incredible to you. This may be a bowl full of soaked and cooked quinoa along with freshly steamed vegetables slathered with coconut oil and sea salt, and a large salad. It may be while eating 2-3 grapefruit for breakfast because you have not yet figured out what else you can eat that morning. One of these meals will taste so good to you that you will have crossed over the line of deprivation to appreciation. This does not imply starvation – anything but, actually. It implies that you went from dependency on familiar old foods to new possibilities, in this case whole foods. Once this occurs, you will make it just fine through the Candida Cleanse. You will have been initiated, and your body will start remembering something deeper, grander and more attractive than refined foods. You will have started to return to your real body, and this body will enjoy simple, whole, untainted foods. These are the foods you need to be healthy and sustain life. This kind of food has a very different energy than refined, processed foods, which cause us to forget what real food is. When the memory returns, you will be fine. I remember the first time I could taste the difference between inorganic lettuce and commercially produced lettuce. It was over 2 decades ago, and ever since, there has been no going back. Organic, whole food is the bait and the prize. Detoxifying candida overgrowth from your body is a huge step. We hope that you never return to your old ways and habits, and that this transition changes you for life.
Candida cleansing can be very empowering. Some feel they gain control in a way they had lost, rather than being run by the candida, which carries on a life of its own as it spreads and takes over your body, feeding on your health and vitality. Once you insist that candida leave, and you take all the right steps in terms of diet, supplements, and commitment to heal this once and for all, candida cannot compete. You will win the fight with candida. This is your life, your body, and your decision. Remember, you are a big, powerful human, and candida is a little, irritating fungus that does not deserve to live in your precious body. Make the decision to go for it with candida cleansing. The payoff is well worth the effort.
Several books are recommended throughout the text of the Candida Cleanse, additional books follow. Please keep checking back to this site for more information, recipes, a Q&A section and other information we will continue to add.
