Chelation Therapy uses high mineral, specially designed formulas that bind with chemicals or toxic materials and effectively draw them out of the body. A series of oral doses or intravenous injections are used to detoxify and supercharge the body. Chelation is often used to treat Arteriosclerosis, heavy metal poisoning and arterial plaque. An Osteopathic or Integrative Medical Doctor commonly administers Chelation Therapy.

Wich brand for Oral Chelation? Thanks
You referred to oral or intravenous injections and I have also read that both exist. Is the oral method still something that must be obtained through a health care physicians? I have looked and it doesn't seem like any such products are available for purchase.
Thank you in advanced.
Hi,
We've done a search and have not been able to find a Chelation Therapist in your local area. If you want to do this treatment, you may have to travel a little further a field.
Thanks
Joe
I found a Physician that does Chelation therapy in my area, but when I contacted him with questions I found out that his "Calcium EDTA" intravenous chelation therapy takes five minutes. Everything I have read says this process should last between 3-4 hours. Have there been advancements with this treatment that I haven't heard of? As far as you know how long should a EDTA Chelation treatment take?
Hi,
This is a new process where they can 'push' it through in 5 minutes. I have tried to research it, and could only find 1 x statement, and it wasn't a good one I am afraid. Normally, the treatment should last 2-4 hours due to the other tests they do before administering the treatment. I've seen clinics advertise 2-3 hours, and others 3-4 hours.
I am afraid we have not researched the 5 minute protocol so are not able to comment either way. I could find reports back to 2012 from practitioners saying it was not safe, but have not been able to find anything more recent.
Thanks
Joe
