Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

A system of delivering pressurized oxygen to help treat potentially all illness, Lyme disease, immune deficiency, brain-injury, smoke inhalation, air embolism and variety of other conditions. In HBOT, the patient is placed in a specially designed chamber, the pressure in the sealed chamber is increased, and 100% oxygen is breathed. This means that the air inside the pressurized chamber is typically 2 1/2 times greater than normal atmospheric pressure. This leads to the individual’s blood carrying larger amounts of oxygen and bringing this oxygen to organs and tissues in the body. By doing so, wounds, particularly infected wounds, and other conditions can heal more readily.
