Rolf Deep Structural Bodywork

Rolf Deep Structural Bodywork is a powerful and effective system developed by Swiss-born American Biochemist, Dr. Ida Rolf. The aim of Rolf Therapy is to re-order the major segments of the body — the head, shoulders, thorax, pelvis and legs — into vertical alignment through deep manipulation of the fascia or connective tissue. Rolfing utilizes a deep massage technique that feels incredible, though painful at times. Pressure is applied with the knuckles to loosen the fascia and muscles and allow the fibers to return to their proper position. Organized through a series of 12 sessions, changes and improvements to your physical structure are markedly noticeable throughout the sessions.
